Queries. When you ask CapSquareGPT a question, we log the query text, the response generated, the AI model used, and a one-way hash of your IP address. Raw IP addresses are never stored. This data is used to operate the service, enforce rate limits, and improve answer quality. Our team may review individual queries and responses to monitor for abuse, evaluate accuracy, and improve the underlying prompts and models. Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as medical history, financial account numbers, or government identifiers) in your queries.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and name for account management. This information is stored in our CRM system (Close).
Address (Find My Legislators). If you choose to use the Find My Legislators feature, the home address you enter is sent to our servers, used to resolve your Ohio legislative district, and then discarded. The address itself is not retained in our database. The resulting legislator IDs (your state representative and senator) may be stored locally on your device so the menu can offer one-tap access without re-asking.
Device information. We generate a device fingerprint based on your browser's user agent, screen resolution, timezone, and language settings. This is stored locally on your device and used to manage sessions across devices.
Device tokens. If you use the iOS app and enable push notifications, we receive a device token from Apple used solely to deliver those notifications.
Usage events. We log usage events such as page views, button interactions, and feature usage to understand how the service is used and to improve the experience.
We use the following third-party analytics and advertising services, which may collect data through cookies and tracking pixels:
Google Analytics and Google Ads. We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand site traffic and measure advertising effectiveness. See Google's privacy policy.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel. We use Meta Pixel for conversion tracking and advertising measurement. See Meta's privacy policy.
LinkedIn Insight Tag. We use LinkedIn's analytics for advertising measurement. See LinkedIn's privacy policy.
We use your information to operate and improve CapSquareGPT, manage your account, enforce rate limits, measure advertising effectiveness, and detect abuse. We do not sell your personal data.
Anthropic. Your queries are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic does not use API queries for model training. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
Close CRM. Account and contact information is stored in Close for customer relationship management. See Close's privacy policy.
Railway. Our servers are hosted on Railway. See Railway's privacy policy.
Apple. Push notifications are delivered via Apple's Push Notification Service. See Apple's privacy policy.
Query logs are retained indefinitely to improve the service. Account information is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
CapSquareGPT is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of CapSquareGPT after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
